Job Description Project Manager ;-

 

PM will manage the onsite/ off shore project activities. Manages people who lead cross-functional teams that are focused on the delivery of a project from design to release for customers. 

Develops, defines and executes
 project plans, schedules, budgets and deliverables. Identifies needed resources for projects, defines and assigns major project roles. Monitors the project from initiation through delivery, interfacing with external customers or field-based employees on technical matters, as needed. Assigns and monitors work of project staff, providing technical support and direction. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

 

MUST:


- Involved in complete life-cycle starting inception to post-implementation support
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal and leadership skills
 
- Hands on .Net
 technologies like C#, asp.net, SQL, WCF and MVC, design pattern.
- Have pre-sales support, providing leadership in proposing technical solutions to the client
 
- Have experience in creating proposals,
 project plans etc
- Have experience using Agile development methodology like TDD, BDD, continuous integration and exposure to code quality tools like check style, PMD, find bugs etc
- Must be able to provide technical leadership to the team and client including evaluation and proposal of alternatives for resolving business and technology issue
- Ability to drive a technical team of 20 to 30 resources and provide technical direction on Design and development
- Should be open for short and long term onsite.

Responsibilities: 

- Direct and manage project development from beginning to end. 
- Define
 project scope, goals and deliverables, track project milestones and deliverables.
- Develop full-scale
 project plans and associated communications documents for stakeholders
- Effectively communicate
 project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Determine and assess need for skill set required, acquire and build staff as per
 project requirements
- Set and continually manage
 project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the
 project team.
- Identify and manage
 project dependencies and critical path. 
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations.
- Proactively manage changes in
 project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
- Define
 project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
- Design and maintain
 project artifacts
- Provides technical coordination and leadership for staff
Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise
 project team members and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
- Identifies opportunities for enhancements and refinements to standards and processes
- Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
